Both window mounted. Both in good condition. Some light staining around edges but in general chalk and whas fresh throughout. Both sold framed. Provenance:

Bears unidentified collector's mark (initials J.A.H., stamped in blue ink, verso), the mark not in Lugt, but the same initials, handwritten are listed as L.1409. It has been suggested that these are the initials of John Audley Harvey, whose drawings collection was sold, London, Christie's, 3 May 1912, and this reference is also written on the back of the frame of one of the present pair of drawings.
